Unique Social Care was founded by Simon Barnes in 2017.

Simon has the vision to improve the standard of care & support delivered to the elderly and vulnerable people throughout the UK.

With more than 10 years of experience in adult and children’s social care, Simon has a passion for delivering his outstanding service improvement framework.

We support services with Interim Management and crisis turnaround with strong leadership and lines of communication, thorough Care Quality & Compliance testing, detailed Investigations to find the root cause, great eye for observing quality and compassion with Mystery Shopping, proven policy writing and care planning with a suite of resources and templates with our Compliance Toolbox, delivering mandatory training, and development for aspiring great leaders.

We provide Mock CQC inspections, provider compliance visits, support with registering new services and interview preparation for managers applying for Registered Manager status. We have a suite of tried and tested audits and inspection tool that guarantees excellence.

Investigations

From employee relations to safeguarding our Specialists are experienced health and social care managers and are able to complete independent investigations on your behalf.

Mystery Shopping

Policy Writing & Care Planning

We have an expert policy writer and are able to support the development and review of your organisational policies and procedures and where required ensure their compliance with the Health and Social Care Act.
